If I give my credit card and personal details, is it secure?
Presents.ie is 100% secure. All payment transaction are encoded by SSL Secure Line 128bit encryption. Our secure server software encrypts all of the information that you provide to us, including your credit card number, name and address. Our secure software ensures that your information cannot be read by anyone else over the internet.
Presents.ie is a Irish based company. Our payment gateway is operated by Realex Payments, a leading European payment service provider.
Privacy, Presents.ie does not sell, rent, or disseminate your personal information to other parties.
If I send a Present to someone will they know who sent it?
Yes, we send a packing slip with every Present and your details will be included on this. We would recommend that you use our free Greeting Card service to complete the perfect Present.
What happens if I want to return a purchased present?
If for any reason you are not satisfied with a present purchased, Presents.ie will refund the cost of your Present in full within 7 days of delivery excluding delivery costs. If I live outside the EU do I have to pay VAT on my purchase?
Whether you pay VAT depends on what country the Present is delivered to!
Value Added Tax(VAT) is a tax applied by the Irish Government to goods and services. Vat on Presents(luxury items) is 21%.
When a Present is purchased for delivery within the EU, the Present is subject to VAT at 21% . When a Present is purchased for delivery outside of the EU, you do not pay VAT.
What countries do presents.ie deliver to?
We deliver to all countries worldwide. We use Fedex for all International deliveries, Fastway Couriers for delivery in Ireland and Northern Ireland.
How much does it cost to get a present delivered?
When you spend €200 or more with Presents.ie delivery is FREE to any one address in Ireland and Northern Ireland. We deliver worldwide, cost of delivery depends on weight and size of your present. When you are purchasing your gift, delivery cost will appear before you pay for your item.
How long does delivery take?
Delivery to Ireland and Northern Ireland can take 2-5 working days. Fastway is our courier of choice, they are a very reliable and efficient courier.
Delivery to the UK and mainland Europe can take 2-10 working days. Interlink and Fedex is our courier of choice, using long established couriers insure that your presents will arrive on time.
Delivery to USA and Canada can take 2-5 working days. Fedex is our courier of choice to all destinations outside of the EU, they are a very reliable and efficient courier.
Products are subject to availability and delays may sometimes occur that are outside our control, if your order is not available we will contact you to give an estimated date of arrival.
Can I get a present delivered on a certain day?
At Presents.ie we use a third party courier service for deliveries. If you wish to have a Present delivered on a certain date we can arrange this with our courier. The companies we use are very reliable and are among the best in the world but sometimes delays can occur and we cannot guarantee exact delivery times.
